There is a magic inherent in pinhole photography, the very essence of the photographic process. Beloved PCNW instructor Jenny Riffle returns from the East Coast to share the history of pinhole photography and her own unique approach to making long exposure pinhole images in this hands-on workshop. During the workshop, you will learn how to build your own pinhole cameras and go into a nearby park to place the cameras for a week-long exposure. You will also learn how to scan the paper negative in the digital lab so that when the exposures are complete participants will be able to scan their images on their own. With this method anyone is able to make a pinhole camera with common items found around your house and process the paper negative without a darkroom. All supplies will be provided, and all levels of experience are welcome!
